    Dr. Brown was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. His undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Texas at El Paso, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Dr. Brown graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine 1998 and has practiced in the Los Angeles area ever since. Dr. Brown purchased Pet Vet Animal Hospital in 2005. He is married with two grown children and two grandchildren to keep him busy.

    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Jennifer Taketani, a southern California native, graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2005. She enjoys small animal practice with dogs and cats, with a special interest in Internal Medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery. When not at work, she is a wife and mother to four little girls, who give her lots of love, chaos, and sass! She is an avid fan of science fiction and fantasy. She also loves movies, reading, and being a pet mom to her rat terrier Lando and domestic shorthair cat Sasha.

    Registered Veterinary Technician

    Roger has been working at Pet Vet Animal Hospital as a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2005. He has worked in the veterinary field since 1998 at various hospitals in the Los Angeles area. Roger graduated with a degree in Agriculture-Veterinary Technology from Pierce College in 2000, and he became a California Registered Veterinary Technician in 2001. Before he changed to his current veterinary career, Roger worked in the hotel industry for 10 years. Roger graduated with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Conrad Hilton College at the University of Houston in 1990. Roger is a Los Angeles native, but he has also lived in Chicago, Miami, San Diego, Houston and Austin. In 1993, Roger returned to his hometown, where he lives today with his wife, son, five cats and a dog. When not at work, he enjoys sporting events, concerts, travel and family activities.
